The organization partners with academic medical centers, community hospitals, and physician groups to design and manage diagnostic sleep testing services. It has over 25 years of experience and is recognized for its focus on patient care and customer service in the New England area.About the Opportunity:The REMOTE SCHEDULING COORDINATOR role is focused on supporting patient access to diagnostic sleep testing by managing scheduling and communication. This position ensures patients receive accurate information, coordinates with clinical teams and physicians, and verifies insurance to facilitate compliant billing. The role is critical for maintaining service quality and operational efficiency in patient scheduling.Responsibilities:Handle heavy inbound and outbound phone callsSchedule at least 20 patients dailyCollect patient history and clinical data prior to appointmentsEducate patients on sleep testing procedures and related servicesVerify insurance eligibility online before schedulingCoordinate with clinical staff to ensure availabilityCommunicate with physicians and insurance providers to resolve issuesReport weekly and monthly data relevant to assigned sitesPerform other duties as assignedRequirements:Minimum 1 year customer service experienceExperience in a medical setting preferredHigh school diploma or GEDBilingual English/Spanish preferredAssociate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferredStrong multitasking and organizational skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new softwareExcellent telephone communication skillsAbility to work one weekend day and one evening shift per monthRemote workspace must be private and secure with password-protected internet, and free of concurrent responsibilities during work hoursPay Range and Compensation Package:The pay range and compensation package for this role will be determined based on the candidate's experience, skills, and other relevant factors.Equal Opportunity Statement: Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
