Civil Engineer - Water Resources for Energy Practice

OverviewKimley-Horn's Mesa, Arizona (AZ) office is seeking a Civil Engineer with 8+ years of experience in Water Resources to join their Energy team! This is not a remote position.ResponsibilitiesSupport our growing energy practice and will require working with multiple teams for a variety of private clientsWork in a dynamic team environment on a range of projects including surface water management studies, hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, analysis and design, flood studies, bridge hydraulics, green infrastructure planning and designPrepare Hydraulic/Hydrology studies, drainage reports, design documents, and design plans and specifications for water resources projectsTechnical writing in the form of memorandums, feasibility studies, regulatory submittals (including CLOMR/LOMR submittals to FEMA), and master plansAssist with developing scopes of work and associated budgetsWatershed master planning, stormwater master planningReport or planning level documents CIP developmentThis is an exciting opportunity to work with a team of engineers and designers on a variety of projectsYou will flourish on both building meaningful internal and external professional relationshipsYou will work closely and collaboratively with other industry leading professionals, various jurisdictions, and contractorsQualifications8+ years of relevant engineering design experienceProfessional Engineering (P.E.)
