Supervisor Aircraft Cabin Cleaning Service- Portland Airport (PDX)

Job Description Supervisor Aircraft Cabin Service Pay Rate: $24.39 per hourShift: 1730 - 0230Supervisor—Cabin Services: Responsible for overseeing and assisting in the comprehensive cleaning of aircraft interiors and galley stocking per aircraft specifications. Responsible for day-to-day operations, including scheduling, time sheets, overseeing staff, assisting in investigations, and responding to client needs.QualificationsSupervisor experience - minimum 1 year requiredPrevious airline experience, preferably within Cabin highly Must be 18 years or older High School Diploma or equivalent requiredValid/Active Driver’s License requiredPerformance ResponsibilitiesMust be able to perform all duties of subordinate employees when necessary.Must be familiar with all pertinent regulations. (Company/Client/Government Agencies)Schedule personnel daily and furnish the copy to General/Ops or Account Manager.Complete internal safety HRT/QC AuditsMonitor employee activity and makes adjustments as needed.Make sure employees follow all regulations/procedures.Make decision concerning the operation when the Shift Supervisor or General Manager is not available.Check-In/Out sheets to ensure all employees have logged in times correctlyDeals courteously and tactfully with fellow employeesHandle complaintsCommunicate effectively with fellow employees and client representatives.Make recommendations to General Manager and/or Ops Manager regarding personnel performance.Communicate safety hazards and equipment problems to General Manager/Ops Manager or Account Manager.Make sure state licenses and training records are current.On call 24 hours per day.Report inquiries and other major incidents to General Manager/Ops Manager or Account Manager.Handle off Schedule Operations when General Manager/Ops Manager is not available.Respond to inquiries from client, staff, and passengers in a courteous manner.Keep supervisor informed of needs and problems in assigned areas, maintain cleanliness of immediate work area and report maintenance needs.Project a positive image and respond to inquiries from clients, staff and public in a courteous manner.Attend meetings and in-services as required.Utilize appropriate communications channels and maintain records, reports and files as required.Must be in proper uniform or business attire as directed by company officials.
