These values support our core purpose; to build great relationships, one project at a time!We have a current opening for a Equipment Yard Attendant in our Sacramento, CA offices.The Equipment Yard Attendant will assist the Royal Electric teamSuccess in the position is achieved through the following duties & responsibilities:Assist with loading and unloading equipment from various trailersOperate and maintain various hand tools and power tools and power equipmentClean and maintain shop and outdoor areas, including parking lot and side fencesManage the look, appearance, and arrangement of equipment in the yardEnsure equipment is properly tagged; use ready, returned and needs inspection, down for repairs, etc.Learn and assist with basic maintenanceEnsure proper disposal of waste and debrisReport maintenance and or safety issues to supervisorRequirementsEducation & ExperienceHigh School Diploma, GED, or equivalentPrevious experience in and around equipment.Required Skills & AbilitiesPrevious experience in a heavy equipment yard preferredFamiliarity with hand tools and power equipment used in construction and the electricalindustry preferred.Mechanical knowledge for equipment maintenanceStrong attention to detail and ability to follow instructionsAbility to operate forklift and maintain certificationAbility to life up to 45 poundsMust have a valid Class C license + clean DMVProper use of PPEMust comply with all safety standards and procedures.Promotes safety and actively participates in safety meetings.Speaks up when identifying an unsafe working condition or practice.Will lift, carry, push, bend, pull, kneel, and reach.Sit, stand, and walk during the duration of the workday.Ability to handle and operate tools safely.Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.Salary Range:$23.00/hour - $28.00/hourThis is non-exempt positionWe offer competitive wages plus benefits and 401(k).Royal is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace.
