PACU RNJames Street Surgical Center has an immediate need for a full time PACU Registered Nurse!Welcome to James Street Surgical CenterJames Street Surgical Center is a fast-paced ASC environment committed to producing the highest quality work and experience for patients and their families.PACU Registered Nurse (PACU RN) at James Street Surgical CenterThe PACU Registered Nurse provides continuity and quality nursing care for all patients, with continual evaluation of the patient's condition, providing patient safety, comfort, and privacy at all times. May assist the physicians in the procedure rooms with various tasks, conscious sedation, and utilizing sterile techniques as deemed appropriate. Will provide total comprehensive patient care to patients emerging from general anesthesia and/or sedation; assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the patient and family in preparation for dischargeQualificationsGraduate of an accredited RN School of NursingActive RN license in the stateBLS and ACLS Required, PALS if required by the center2 years of experience in PACU or Critical Care preferredAbility to make decisions based on nursing judgmentAble to prioritize and organize workload to meet the needs of patients and the unitStrong communication skills, verbal and writtenPay Range: $44.26/hr - $53.42/hr (Wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual's qualifications and experience.)Work Schedule: 5/8. 4/10 or 3/12BenefitsMedical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurancePaid time off (vacation & sick leave) Starting PTO accrual is 15 days per year.401k retirement planPaid holidaysHealth savings accounts, healthcare & dependent flexible spending accountsEmployee Assistance program, Employee discount programVoluntary benefits include pet insurance, legal insurance, accident and critical illness insurance, long term care, elder & childcare, AD&D, auto & home insurance.Who We AreAt USPI, we create relationships that create better care.
