Accounting Auditor

Main Purpose of the Role:This position will be responsible for Auditing expenses in the Caribbean and Central America.Major area of Responsibility:Responsible for expenses auditing related activity in a manner that meets District’s goals, while assuring that actions are taken according to Company’s best practice.Main Tasks:Overview on on-going basis agents’ expenses – Agfa and SAP.Approve expenses via WFReview and approve commissionsMonitoring SOA’s are closed on timeMake sure agents work according to Company’s best practiceGather information and explanation for HO for ad-hoc requestsSolve problem agents might have with posting of expenses. Approach HO when required.On a quarterly basis – update the missing zimaps costs in the systemApproach agents with cost deviationsOn a quarterly basis – Push agents to submit invoices and closed monthly SOAUpdate auditor supervisor regarding missing costs that requires a provisionMonitor agency’s KPI are metApproach agent when not meeting the KPI and set a work plan for improvementRequirements:Requirements:Background in finance - advantageSpanish speaker 4 year University/College – Advantage2 years of experience in the Shipping industry – AdvantageExperience with SAP - advantage
