Travel RN - ICU

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN for a night shift position in an Open Heart Intensive Care Unit (OHICU) requiring a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience and Epic proficiency.Job Details• Work in a 10-bed Open Heart Intensive Care Unit (OHICU) within a hospital setting,• Patient population includes critically ill and postoperative cardiothoracic, cardiovascular, and general surgery patients aged 18 and older,• Specialized procedures include invasive hemodynamic monitoring, ventilator management, arrhythmia monitoring and intervention, pacemaker/ICD management, IABP management, CRRT, VAD management, and ECMO,• Epic EMR experience required,• Night shift: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00-07:00),• Every other weekend (EOW) required,• No on-call requirements,• May float to all ICU floors and med/surg floors as needed,• Holiday coverage required on an as-needed basis,Job Requirements• Active Pennsylvania (PA) or Compact RN license required,• Current certifications: BLS and ACLS,• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required,• Proficiency with Epic EMR required,• Must be prepared to pass an EKG exam on the first attempt - failure risks cancellation of the assignment,Additional Information• Candidates will undergo a clinical pre-screen to assess clinical fit before being presented to the hiring manager for a final interview,• May be assigned to care for COVID-positive patients,• This is a tobacco-free and fragrance-free facility,• Maximum of 7 days of requested time off (RTO) for the duration of the contract,• Local candidates are welcome to apply
