The role involves development and optimization of engine start-stop systems, hybrid torque management, and transmission control algorithms.Key Responsibilities:Development of Torque Control strategies for eDCT transmissionsImplementation of Hybrid Shift Execution (HSER) algorithmsSupport Engine Start-Stop / Auto Start-Stop control developmentDevelop clutch torque command and torque estimation modelsWork on engine speed control, torque path management, and shift executionModel and simulate control strategies using MATLAB/Simulink/StateflowSupport closed-loop simulation and system validationCollaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile development environments Required Skills:Strong experience in eDCT transmission controls and hybrid powertrain systemsKnowledge of Torque Control and Shift Execution strategiesExperience with MATLAB, Simulink, and StateflowFamiliarity with Git and Agile development practicesKnowledge of axle disconnect / wheel-end disconnect systems is a plusPreferred:Experience with Magna P2.5, ZF P2Gen4, or Punch eDCT powertrains.Equal Opportunity Statement:Tata Technologies Inc. is an Equal Opportunity/ Affirmative Action employer.
