Company Description We suggest you enter details here. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a School Bus Driver based in the Urbana-Champaign Area. The School Bus Driver will be responsible for safely operating a school bus, transporting students to and from school and other school-related activities, and ensuring the students’ safety during the entire journey. Daily responsibilities include adhering to set schedules, maintaining a clean and functional vehicle, and complying with all traffic and safety regulations. Additionally, the School Bus Driver will provide excellent communication and maintain professional interactions with students, staff, and parents. Qualifications CDL Class B license and proven truck or bus driving experienceDefensive Driving techniques for ensuring safety and handling emergenciesStrong Communication and Customer Service skills to effectively interact with students, school staff, and parentsFamiliarity with local traffic laws and regulationsPatience, responsibility, and an ability to remain calm under pressureHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred
