Dietetic Technician

Role Overview Sodexo is seeking a Dietetic Technician at Union Regional Hospital, Terre Haute, IN. Under the supervision of a Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist, this role focuses on providing nutritional care for inpatients and general medical units, educating patients and family, and in the community and may work in food service. The position requires interaction with patients managing a variety of diseases and emphasizes personal and professional development. If you need assistance with the application process, please complete this form.Qualifications & RequirementsMinimum Education Requirement - Associate's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice in a Dietetic Technician Program as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND), Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework in a Didactic Program in Dietetics (DPD) as dictated by ACEND, or required coursework and supervised practice in a Certified Dietary Manager Program as dictated by the Certifying Board for Dietary Managers (CBDM) Credentials Requirement:Meets eligibility requirements for Nutrition & Dietetics Technician, Registered (DTR/NDTR) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) by the Certifying Board for Dietary Managers (CBDM)Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice
