As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of vehicles. Duties:- Diagnose and repair vehicle issues, such as engine problems, electrical malfunctions, and transmission failures- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify any potential issues or safety concerns- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle problems- Complete repairs efficiently and effectively, ensuring high-quality workmanship- Keep accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed on vehicles- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns and answering any questions they may have- Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive technology advancements and industry trendsRequirements:- Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or similar role- Strong knowledge of automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment to identify vehicle problems- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose complex issues- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing repairs and maintenance tasks- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical individuals- Valid driver's license with a clean driving recordSkills:- Mechanic- Transmission service- Automotive electrical systems- Powertrain systems- Service technician```Job Type: Full-timeBenefits:401(k)Employee discountAbility to Commute:Brooklyn, NY 11236 (Required)Ability to Relocate:Brooklyn, NY 11236: Relocate before starting work (Required)Work Location: In person
