Data Engineer
Overview
In this role, you design and delivering scalable, secure data solutions in the cloud to enable advanced analytics. You work with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into robust data architectures and modernize data platforms. You will build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines, enforce governance and security standards, and support self-service analytics through BI and semantic models. This is a hands-on, impact-driven opportunity to shape data platforms that drive insights and operational efficiency. You will join an innovation‑driven environment with opportunities to mentor teammates and travel up to 15% as needed.
ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, and maintain scalable cloud-based data solutionsDevelop and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines for high-volume data environmentsLead modernization initiatives to improve data reliability and efficiencyDefine and enforce architecture, governance, and security standardsCollaborate with BI teams to enable self-service analyticsMonitor and optimize performance, availability, and cost of data platformsTranslate complex business requirements into scalable architecturesSupport training and mentorship in data engineeringAdopt and integrate new data technologies to enhance platform capabilities
Key requirementsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience5+ years in data engineering, with 3+ years in cloud-based solutionsProficiency with Azure, Databricks, or SnowflakeProven expertise in building and optimizing large-scale ETL/ELT pipelinesAdvanced SQL and data modeling for analytics workloadsKnowledge of governance, security, and quality standards in cloud platformsPreferred certifications in Azure, AWS, Snowflake, or DatabricksExperience with BI tools like Power BI and enabling self-service analyticsStrong communication skills for cross-team collaborationstrong collaborationexcellent communicationmentoring and knowledge sharingAzureDatabricksSnowflake
