This hands-on role is essential to the assembly, inspection, and maintenance of our cutting-edge rotary engines. The ideal candidate will bring a strong mechanical background, a proactive mindset, and a high level of craftsmanship to support our engineering and R&D efforts.Key Responsibilities:Perform precision assembly and disassembly of prototype and production rotary enginesInspect and measure machined components using calipers, micrometers, and other precision toolsIdentify and resolve mechanical issues during engine build processesMaintain accurate inventory of tools, components, and consumablesEnsure a clean, organized, and safe work environment in the shop and lab areasPerform routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment and shop infrastructureCollaborate closely with engineers and other technicians to support design iterations and testingDocument build procedures, discrepancies, and improvements for continuous process optimizationQualifications:Proven mechanical aptitude from automotive, aerospace, machining, or similar hands-on technical fieldsAbility to read and interpret mechanical drawings and assembly documentationExcellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independentlyStrong attention to detail with a focus on high-quality workmanshipFamiliarity with hand tools, torque wrenches, gauges, and shop equipmentExperience with rotary or internal combustion engines is a plusAbility to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks in a workshop setting
