Assistant Project ManagerWe are currently representing an established Mechanical Contractor currently looking for an Assistant Project Manager at all levels to join their organization. This role would lead to the career path to a Project Manager with them in the near future as they continue to expand their operations. They have been in operation for over 50+ years and have a huge presence in the Mechanical Construction space.Responsibilities:Supervise and direct project development throughout its lifecycleSpecialize in Commercial and Industrial ProjectsProficient in handling TI, Ground Up, Design Build assignmentsEstablish project scope, objectives, and deliverables aligned with business objectivesCoordinate team members, resources, and stakeholders to reach project targetsPrepare and present budget proposals, with the flexibility to suggest adjustments when necessaryManage project expectations and communicate effectively with team and managementAssign tasks to suitable personnel and oversee their executionIdentify and address project issues, deficiencies, and key milestonesCreate project timelines, schedules, and monitor progress efficientlyProficiency in various Microsoft, Project Management, and Estimating toolsGenerate progress reports, proposals, and documentation for reviewAnticipate changes in project scope, mitigate potential crises, and develop backup plansPerform any additional duties as delegatedRequirements:Proficiency in HVAC industry standards and regulationsPrior hands-on experience in HVAC equipment installation and maintenanceDemonstrated skills in team management and individual performanceAbility to adapt to changing priorities, solve problems, and meet deadlinesQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent practical experienceMinimum of 2+ years in the HVAC/Mechanical sectorBA Mechanical Engineering preferred, not requiredCompensation + Benefits:Competitive Salary range dependent on candidates years of experience in the industryExcellent Medical / Healthcare Packages to choose fromBonus pay-outs based on individual, project, and company performanceCar Allowance or Car Vehicle provided401K + MatchMentorship from Leadership Team to further career development
