The position involves providing all aspects of respiratory care to pediatric and neonatal patients. Daily treatments range from 20 to 25 sessions. Duties include administering aerogen, Volara, cough assist, IPV, NAVA, Hamilton, and Servo ventilators. Responsibilities also cover airway management and intrahospital transport. Assist with intubation as needed, but independent intubation is not required. The schedule requires six weekend shifts every four weeks with holidays as assigned. Preference scheduling is available based on commitment. Team staffing consists of multiple respiratory therapists per shift. No floating to other areas is required. Expected dress code includes wearing stone/light gray scrubs. A department-specific orientation will be provided based on prior experience.
