Established in 1995 by Don Maughan, Precise Tank Modifications has built a solid reputation for reliability and excellence in the industry.At PTM, we are searching for dedicated and hardworking Construction Laborers to join our team. The ideal laborer will assist in various construction tasks, ensuring projects are completed safely and efficiently. This role requires physical stamina, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to attention to detail.We mainly work in installing, removing, and modifying underground storage tanks and systems. Being in a small and specialized field, we understand not everyone has seen or done what we do. We provide on the job training, and you'll always be working on a crew with 3 to 4 other workers. All we ask is a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and jump wherever its needed.DetailsMust have transportation to/from the shop. From the shop we take a service truck to the job sites.Time starts when you arrive at the shop and stops when you finish at the job site for the day.Occasional out of town work (Only Mon-Thurs - 4, 10+ hour days). Home Thursday night - Monday morning.In town jobs: Monday - Friday 6am to 2:30pm (1/2-hour lunch) work later as neededUsually 40-45 hour weeksPaid time off availableSick days available401k matching available after 1 yearHealth insurance available after 90 daysDutiesAssist in preparing the truck every morning: fueling up, loading materials for the day, asking what needs done or loaded.Operate basic hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.Know how to read and use a tape measure.Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment for all team members.Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition and making sure all are clean and put back in their place daily.Some examples of tasks: Use handheld saw to cut PVC pipe, thread stainless steel pipe, run product piping from dispensers to sumps, cut angle iron, use various tools to connect fittings and pipes from fiberglass to stainless steel, etc.RequirementsPrevious experience in construction or labor-intensive roles is preferred but not required.Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods.Familiarity with basic hand tools and power tools is a plus.Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration.Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities as needed.Must adhere to all safety regulations and practices on the job site.
