This role is responsible for supervising daily warehouse and yard activity, managing finished goods and semi-finished goods inventory, ensuring accurate system transactions in NetSuite, and supporting internal and external audit requirements, including ISO 9001 compliance. This individual must thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing and distribution environment and demonstrate flexibility in schedule to support operational demands.Location: Sealy, Texas (On-Site)KEY RESPONSIBILITIESLogistics Operations ManagementSupervise all inbound and outbound shipment activityCoordinate truck scheduling, loading, unloading, and stagingEnsure accurate documentation and proof of delivery compliancePartner with 3PLs, carriers, and internal teams to maintain on-time performanceEnsure shipments comply with DOT regulations and legal weight limitsOversee safe loading practices for flatbeds and dry vans, including proper securement standardsMaximize weight and space utilization within legal limits to optimize freight cost efficiencyInventory ManagementManage finished goods and semi-finished goods inventoryMaintain inventory accuracy and cycle count complianceInvestigate and resolve discrepanciesEnsure proper material flow between production and shippingSystem & Transactional ControlPerform inbound and outbound transactions in NetSuiteEnsure real-time and accurate system updatesMaintain audit-ready documentation standardsSupport data integrity and KPI trackingAudit & ComplianceInterface with internal and external auditorsSupport ISO 9001 compliance requirementsMaintain process documentation and SOP adherenceEnsure traceability and inventory control standards are upheldLeadership & Team ManagementLead warehouse and logistics staffEnsure staff coverage during high-volume periodsFoster a team-oriented, accountable cultureAdjust schedules as needed (early mornings, late evenings) to support operationsQUALIFICATIONS5+ years' experience in logistics, warehouse, or manufacturing operations2+ years in a supervisory roleExperience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred)Strong inventory control backgroundStrong understanding of DOT regulations, legal weight limits, and load optimization for flatbeds and dry vansKnowledge of freight securement standards and transportation safety complianceFamiliarity with ISO 9001 processes and audit interactionAbility to operate in a fast-paced, changing environmentStrong communication and leadership skillsMust reside within 30 minutes of Sealy, TX facilityWORK REQUIREMENTSFlexibility to adjust schedule based on operational needsAbility to work extended hours when requiredOn-site role (not remote)IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILETeam-oriented and solution-drivenDetail-oriented with strong system disciplineProactive problem solverComfortable leading through changeStrong operational mindset with accountability focusSafety-driven with a strong understanding of transportation compliance and cost efficiencyWORKING CONDITIONSFTC Solar offers competitive wages, growth opportunities, and a comprehensive benefits package.
