Flexologist

JOB DESCRIPTION: Seeking health & wellness professionals to join our team of rockstars. This is an amazing opportunity to gain experience in a new modality that is taking the fitness industry by storm at an up and coming beautiful stretching studio located in Troy, MI. THE ROLE: Flexologists provide professional one-on-one assisted stretches helping members with a customized mobility program working to increase their range of motion, reduce pain and eliminate joint stiffness. ABOUT STRETCHLAB: StretchLab is the industry leader in offering one-on-one assisted stretching. StretchLab prides itself on having the finest team of stretching professionals with proprietary Flexologist ™ training ensuring that clients receive a world class stretching session. In addition, StretchLab's Flexologist Training Program (FTP) recently became the first and is currently the ONLY nationally accredited training program for assisted stretching. RESPONSIBILITIES/DESIRED ATTRIBUTES: Encourage and motivate clients throughout stretch sessions Grow StretchLab memberships and retain current clientele Love of boutique fitness environment required; passion for stretching, mobility and flexibility is strongly preferred EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Health/Wellness degree or current Fitness certification required Open to recent graduates of Kinesiology and/or Exercise Science Degree 1-2 years health & wellness field experience preferred Must be available to go through a paid 3 day in-person/hands-on Flexologist Training Program in addition to 20 hours of online tutorials Willingness to work weekends and ability to commit to 20-25 hours a week in block scheduling (4 hour minimum shifts) COMPENSATION Competitive pay based on a sliding scale flex rate Bonuses opportunities
