Successful applicant will have a strong skill set in automation. Must have the ability to detect minor problems, correct them or eliminate them before they become major issues.Nature of Duties/Responsibilities:Evaluates, dismantles, adjusts, repairs and assembles equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, rough sketches or drawingsUses test and diagnostic equipment to perform checkoutsPerforms all repairs of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical parts for SMT and other Robotic assembly equipmentRepairs all support equipment including conveyors and soldering roboticsTroubleshoots issues in work cells containing as many as 5 integrated machinesCreated spare parts lists and preventive maintenance proceduresPerforms preventative maintenance on all equipmentPerforms general building maintenance and other duties as assigned Education and Experience: Associate's Degree / 2 year Technical Degree or equivalent experience2-4 years of related experience requiredExperience working with SMT and other robotic assembly equipment preferredAbility to work in both team environment and able to be self directedAbility to work well with other members of the technical and production staffsResults and Quality OrientedDemonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to read and comprehend technical literatureAbility to read and comprehend schematics and technical instructionsAbility to effectively convey technical concepts to non technical personnel
