This role is responsible for developing and implementing project‑specific Quality Assurance Plans, conducting site audits and inspections, and ensuring compliance with contractual, regulatory, and InServ quality standards.You’ll partner closely with Project Managers and Superintendents, provide hands‑on field support, mentor shop and field teams, and guide corrective actions to ensure consistent, high‑quality project delivery. This is a highly visible role for a quality professional who thrives in active construction environments.WHAT YOU'LL DODevelop and implement project‑specific Quality Assurance Plans (QAPs) prior to project start‑upParticipate in project planning and determine required installation and inspection techniquesConduct regular site audits, surveillance activities, and unannounced inspectionsIdentify, document, and communicate non‑conformances, recommending corrective actions and ensuring resolutionAttend project kickoff meetings and provide QA/QC insight and risk‑based recommendationsSupport risk management strategies aligned with quality objectivesInterpret specifications and clarify procedural requirements for project teamsDeliver training on InServ’s QA Program and monitor ongoing compliancePartner with Operations to address violations and potential stop‑work situationsReview final client turnover packages for completeness and accuracyTrain, guide, and oversee subcontractor quality complianceSupport workforce development, including hiring input and training for traveling project teamsContinuously improve QA/QC processes to strengthen communication, execution, and resultsWHAT YOU BRINGComprehensive knowledge of high‑purity, mechanical, and industrial construction practicesStrong understanding of construction codes, standards, and quality systemsProven ability to lead, influence, and build trust across field and management teamsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong problem‑solving mindset with the ability to act decisively in the fieldProficiency in Microsoft Office with willingness to learn new systems and toolsQUALIFICATIONSAWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) – requiredMinimum 5 years of experience in QA/QC program management, project supervision, or project managementMinimum 5 years of experience in Nondestructive Testing (Visual Testing – VT)Advanced/technical training strongly preferredTRAVELLess than 20% overnight travel, local daily travel between jobsites requiredWHY INSERV?Competitive pay that rewards your impactProfessional development and continuous learning opportunities401(k)Health, Dental and Vision InsurancePaid Time Off (PTO)Tuition reimbursementCOMPANY OVERVIEWFounded in 1992, InServ is a full-service industrial contractor serving the life sciences, advanced manufacturing, and food and beverage sectors.
