International Operations Specialist

With over 120 offices in 40 countries worldwide, our unique shareholder management model enables you to benefit from global implementation experience and expertise across all industry sectors, coupled with vital in-country knowledge and service at the local level.ResponsibilitiesCommunicates with customers via phone, email, and company web portal.Manages time-specific pickups and provides best export routing by Ocean and Air.Manages breakbulk operations for export shipments, including working with overseas offices to quote, route, and handle destination services.Collates export documents and turns them over to our brokerage department for customs clearance.Handles operations system data entry and interacts with customer web portal communications.Tracks all shipments and provides updates for customers.Provides a monthly service departure schedule.Closes out consolidations.Sends daily agent settlements per consolidation (invoicing).Monitors and relays discrepancies to the field and overseas.Assists stations with export documentation, review/advise as needed.Assists stations and sales with all air export quotes.Keeps sales abreast of any major lane developments.Builds pallets when necessary to maximize space while reducing costs.Produces all necessary documents for overseas and U.S. Customs, including Mawb, manifest, SED, labels, etc.Acts as the last line of defense to ensure all documentation is provided by origins.Ensures all origins freight and documents are ready for carriage.Rates and enters costs against master job.Books all shipments with carriers.Researches and responds to any foreign agent requests.Determines routings for overseas and origins.Runs monthly reports such as gateway, carrier performance, lane analysis, etc.Maintains an orderly workplace.Complies with SEKO's C-TPAT Security Profile.Expected to uphold SEKO's Core Values: respect, customer focus, integrity, teamwork, and work hard, play hard.Participates in the development of a safe and healthy workplace.Complies with instructions given for their own safety and health and that of others, in adhering to safe work procedures.Cooperates with management in its fulfilment of legislative obligations.Other duties as assigned by management.RequirementsExcellent communications skills and strong sense of urgency.Ability to prioritize heavy workloads.Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office, with aptitude to learn new software and systems.Education & ExperienceMinimum: High School Diploma or GED required.2–5 years related experience.Preferred: None.CompensationThe base salary compensation range for this role is $65,500 - $93,600 USD per year.
