To support utility-scale solar, wind, and battery projects, the full-time remote PE Licensed Development Engineer will apply standard engineering techniques, develop accurate plans and reports, and collaborate with design teams and clients to deliver innovative design solutions for renewable facility projects.
Key responsibilities
Applies engineering techniques to complete tasks and supports design workflows across civil, structural, and electrical disciplines
Develops comprehensive plans and reports in line with utility-scale renewables early-stage development practices
Engages with clients to understand their needs and provides guidance to engineering technicians and design engineers
Required qualifications
B.S. in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited program or equivalent
Successful completion of Professional Engineer (PE) registration or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
Minimum of 4-6+ years of relevant engineering experience, including at least 3+ years in utility-scale renewables design
Demonstrated proficiency in AutoCAD or Civil 3D
Permanent authorization to work in the US
