Only Apply Local to Arizona Candidate.Position: ETL DeveloperEmployment Type: ContractLocation: 5850 W Glendale Ave, Glendale, AZ, 85301Work Arrangement: - Overview (Onsite)The Client is seeking an experienced ETL Developer to design, develop, and support data integration solutions across both on-premises and cloud environments. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise with Informatica and a solid working knowledge of the Microsoft data stack (SQL Server, Azure Data Factory, SSIS, or related tools). This role requires someone comfortable supporting hybrid infrastructure and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable, high-performing data pipelines.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, test, and maintain ETL workflows using Informatica PowerCenter/IICS (or equivalent Informatica tools)Build and support data integration processes across on-premises and cloud (Azure) environmentsDevelop, optimize, and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, and data transformation logic within the Microsoft SQL Server ecosystemMonitor, troubleshoot, and resolve ETL job failures, performance bottlenecks, and data quality issuesCollaborate with data architects, DBAs, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical ETL designsSupport data migration and modernization initiatives, including on-prem to cloud transitionsImplement and maintain data governance, security, and compliance standards for municipal dataCreate and maintain technical documentation for ETL processes, data flows, and mappingsParticipate in on-call/production support rotations as neededWork with scheduling tools to automate and monitor batch ETL jobsRequired Qualifications7+ years of hands-on experience as an ETL DeveloperStrong expertise in Informatica (PowerCenter, IICS, or Informatica Cloud)Proven experience supporting both on-premises and cloud-based data environmentsSolid experience with the Microsoft technology stack — SQL Server, T-SQL, SSIS, and/or Azure Data FactoryStrong SQL scripting and query optimization skillsExperience with data warehousing concepts (star schema, dimensional modeling, etc.)Familiarity with Azure cloud services (Azure SQL, Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse — nice to have)Strong analytical and troubleshooting skillsExcellent communication skills, with ability to work directly with government/municipal stakeholdersPrior experience working with government/public sector clients or agencies (city, county, state, or federal) is requiredPreferred QualificationsExperience working with government or public sector clientsFamiliarity with data governance and compliance requirements in municipal IT environmentsExperience with job scheduling/orchestration tools (e.g., Control-M, Autosys, or Azure equivalents)Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)Soft SkillsStrong problem-solving and analytical mindsetAbility to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced environmentStrong documentation and stakeholder communication skills
