Job Title: Engineering ATPOC QUALIFICATIONS: · DoD Secret Security Clearance: Must possess a valid Secret security clearance issued by the Department of Defense. · Government Directed: Required by government direction. · Engineering/Architect Background: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related fields. · Security Expertise: Knowledge and understanding of security protocols, vulnerability assessments, and risk mitigation strategies. · Annual Vulnerability Assessments: Familiarity with the process and requirements of conducting Annual Vulnerability Assessments. · JSIVA Knowledge: Understanding of Joint Security Implementation Vulnerability Assessments and their significance. · Security Clearance Management: Experience managing security clearances and ensuring compliance with clearance protocols. · Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with engineering teams, security personnel, and external stakeholders. · Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to identify potential security risks and recommend appropriate measures. · Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills to manage and track the progress of vulnerability assessments and related activities. · Security Regulations: Knowledge of security regulations, directives, and best practices relevant to the position. · Leadership Skills: Ability to coordinate and lead engineering teams in implementing security measures and addressing vulnerabilities. · Teamwork: Strong teamwork and collaboration skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams and external agencies. · Problem-Solving: Analytical and problem-solving skills to assess security risks and develop appropriate mitigation strategies. · Documentation Skills: Proficiency in maintaining accurate records and documentation related to vulnerability assessments and security measures. RESPONSIBILITIES: · Serve as the Engineering POC (Point of Contact) for the Annual Vulnerability Assessments and JSIVAs conducted by the Wing ATO (Alternate Top Secret Control Officer). · Coordinate with engineering teams and stakeholders to ensure the completion of required assessments and the implementation of recommended security measures. · Collaborate with security personnel, architects, and engineers to assess the vulnerability of critical assets and infrastructure. · Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, identifying potential security risks and recommending mitigation strategies. · Coordinate with external agencies or organizations involved in security assessments and provide necessary information and support. · Monitor and track the progress of vulnerability assessment activities, ensuring timely completion and documentation. · Review engineering plans, designs, and construction projects to ensure compliance with security requirements and protocols. · Maintain accurate records and documentation related to vulnerability assessments and security measures implemented. · Stay updated on current security protocols, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and enhance security measures. · Serve as the liaison between engineering teams and the Wing ATO, facilitating communication and collaboration. · Provide guidance and support to engineering teams regarding security-related concerns and requirements. · Collaborate with other ATPOCs and security personnel to address cross-functional security issues and ensure consistency in security measures.
