Site Director – Distribution OperationsNew Jersey | Confidential | Electrical DistributionWe’re working on a confidential leadership hire with a rapidly growing, multi-brand electrical distribution platform in the U.S. This is not a steady-state role it’s a high-impact turnaround and scale opportunity within a complex, high-volume distribution center supporting multiple operating companies.The Opportunity:As Site Director, you’ll take full ownership of a critical distribution center at an inflection point. The business has expanded rapidly through acquisitions and organic growth and now needs a strong operational leader to bring structure, accountability, and scalability to the site.You’ll be responsible for:Leading a 75–80 person, multi-shift operation.Driving performance, process, and accountability across teams.Assessing and upgrading leadership bench strength.Improving pick accuracy, delivery reliability, and operational discipline.Overseeing complex logistics including:Cross-docking.Branch transfers.Fleet operations (25+ trucks).High-volume nightly flows.Playing a key role in WMS and automation rollout projects.Positioning the site for future growth and expansion.What We’re Looking For:Must-have:Proven leadership of a distribution center or warehouse operation.Experience managing multi-shift teams and layered leadership structures.Strong track record in turnaround, transformation, or scaling environments.Background in electrical distribution, HVAC, or building products.Ability to drive accountability and cultural change.Hands-on, operationally sharp, and commercially aware.Highly Desirable:Experience with WMS, automation, or warehouse transformation.Exposure to complex product environments (systems-based, not just parts).Fleet/logistics and routing experience.Why This Opportunity Stands Out:Join a fast-growing, acquisition-driven platform.Work directly with senior leadership and executive team.Be part of a business investing heavily in automation and infrastructure.Tap into major growth in data center and electrical markets.Real opportunity to build, shape, and influence operations at scale.
