Hi,Greetings of the day!We are looking to Hire a Talented Professional for the below Job opportunity with one of our clients,If you're interested, please share your updated resume at your earliest convenience, and I’ll be happy to provide more details about the role.Position: Senior Java Application Developer (React and AWS)Location: Baltimore, MD (100% Onsite)Duration: Long Term ContractNote: Need only Locals and available for F2F interview tomorrow(8/4 - Wednesday) at client location Baltimore, MDJob Description:Recent hands-on experience with React and Spring Boot.Ability to explain the end-to-end application flow:React UIAPI callsSpring Boot Controllers/ServicesDatabase interactionsExperience troubleshooting and debugging production issues.Understanding of authentication/security concepts such as JWT, OAuth2, Spring Security, etc.Ability to explain how they would debug:A login issue where valid credentials fail.A search functionality issue where data is not returned.Strong understanding of API integrations between React and Spring Boot.Candidates should be able to discuss their recent project in detail, including their individual contributions.Duties and Responsibilities:• Architect, design, and document scalable and secure enterprise solutions across a suite of DPSCS applications.• Provide hands-on support and development assistance for applications including but not limited to:o Maryland Automated Guidelines System (MAGS)o Expungement Tracking System (ETS)o National Data Exchange System (NDEX)o Inmate Locatoro DPP Online Training Programo Asset Tracking System (ATS)o Single Sign-On (SSO) Application Portalo Offender Watch Sex Offender Registryo DP Alert Systemo Mid-Atlantic Regional Information Sharing System (MARIS)• Assist in building, configuring, and deploying IIS web servers for production and development environments.• Design and implement SSO (Single Sign-On) across internal application suites using Okta and SAML, including integration with the DPSCS Content Management System (CMS).• Lead the modernization of legacy applications through cloud-native architecture and containerization strategies where appropriate.• Collaborate with stakeholders, developers, security teams, and database administrators to ensure compliance, performance, and reliability across systems.• Analyze existing systems to identify and resolve architecture, performance, or security issues.• Maintain documentation and ensure solutions align with enterprise IT and cybersecurity standardsRequired Skills/Certifications:• TOGAF® (The Open Group Architecture Framework) – Enterprise Architecture• Certified Information Systems Architect (CISA) or CITA-Professional (IASA Global)• One or more Cloud Architecture Certifications, such as:o AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professionalo Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Experto Google Professional Cloud ArchitecProgramming Languages & Frameworks:• .NET / .NET Core• Web API 2.0• Java• JavaScript, jQuery, React• HTML5, BootstrapServer & Infrastructure:• Web Servers: IIS, Apache, WAMP• OS: Windows Server, Linux (various distros)• SSO Integration: Okta, SAMLDatabases & Tools:• Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL• SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), SQL DeveloperTesting & Network Tools:• Postman (API testing)• Wireshark (Network traffic analysis)Preferred Skills & Attributes:• Deep understanding of criminal justice and public safety systems, including integrations with federal (e.g., FBI/NDEX) and state-level law enforcement systems.• Experience in government or regulated environments with complex compliance requirements.• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non[1]technical audiences.• Ability to lead technical teams and mentor junior developers and engineers.• Highly organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented with a strong analytical mind
