This role is integral to supporting Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Software Engineering initiatives, focusing on developing and maintaining embedded software solutions for complex aerospace systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and integrating software components that meet rigorous industry, safety, and regulatory standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge defense technologies, contribute to innovative projects, and collaborate with a talented team dedicated to transforming ideas into operational solutions.QualificationsThe successful candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field, along with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience. Candidates must hold an active Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain Top Secret and Special Program Access. Proficiency in C++ and C# programming languages, Linux development, and experience with version control systems like Git are essential. Additionally, familiarity with network architectures, TCP/UDP communication protocols, software architecture development, and open architectures is required. Preferred qualifications include more extensive experience, knowledge of host environments, software design methodologies, and compliance with industry standards for software development and testing.
