High School English Teacher

The Capitol Encore Academy in downtown Fayetteville, North Carolina is hiring a full-time high school English teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. Teamwork, positive relationships, flexibility, and a demonstrated work history of student growth and learning are key qualities we will be looking for in candidates. Plan and deliver engaging, standards-aligned English instruction for grades 9–12 Integrate the arts (visual, performing, media, or literary) into English curriculum to enhance student learning Use formative and summative assessment data to drive instruction, differentiate learning, and monitor student progress Create a classroom environment that promotes creativity, critical thinking, and student voice Collaborate with colleagues in professional learning communities (PLCs) Maintain accurate records of student performance and progress Communicate effectively with students, families, and staff Participate in school-wide initiatives, professional development, and community events Job Types: Full-time, Contract Pay: $42,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Professional development assistance Retirement plan Vision insurance Work Location: In person
