Details Work in the Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) of an acute care hospital 13-week contract Rotating day and night shifts available: Days 7:00-19:30, Nights 19:00-7:30 Schedule options: 3x12 or 4x12 hours per week Every other weekend required Holiday coverage required as needed Floating to ICU and IMC required Requirements Active DC RN license required; proof of pending DC license accepted at time of consideration, but license must be in hand prior to start date Current certifications: BLS and ACLS Minimum 2 years of CVICU experience required Must successfully pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum overall score of 80% and a score of 100% on lethal rhythms Travel nursing experience preferred 2 professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years required Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required Additional Information Provide critical care nursing to cardiovascular ICU patients Candidates residing within 60 miles of the facility are eligible to apply BSN candidates should ensure their degree credential is noted on their profile American Traveler Job ID P-683562.
