Job Title: Dental Director - Montgomery, ALEmployment Type: Full-TimeOverview:We are seeking a licensed and experienced Dental Director to lead and oversee the dental program at a well-established health center in Montgomery, Alabama. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, leadership experience, and a passion for providing high-quality care to a diverse patient population.Key Responsibilities:Plan, direct, and manage the dental program and servicesSupervise dental staff and ensure quality of careExamine, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for patientsPerform dental procedures to treat oral diseases and conditionsMaintain accurate dental records and documentationEnsure compliance with regulatory standards and safety protocolsCoordinate peer reviews, emergency preparedness, and continuing educationParticipate in management meetings and represent the dental program in conferencesMonitor provider productivity and assist with internal auditsQualifications:Graduate of an ADA-accredited dental schoolLicensed to practice dentistry in the State of AlabamaPossess a current Controlled Substance Registration CertificateMinimum of 5 years experience in dental practice (private or employed)Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferredStrong communication, administrative, and organizational skillsCommitment to team collaboration and community health initiativesWork Environment & Physical Demands:Combination of sitting, standing, walking, and speakingLight lifting and general clinical physical activity requiredIdeal Candidate Will Have:Excellent leadership and team-building skillsExperience managing clinical operations and complianceAbility to engage with staff and patients from diverse backgroundsA proactive and professional demeanor
