The Project Manager, eDiscovery Cyber Services will be part of a team that supports the firm’s thriving cybersecurity practice area. The Project Manager will be dedicated to supporting the eDiscovery processes of cyber incident response (CIR) matters and will function as a liaison to third party providers involved in the delivery of this complex service.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Work with legal teams, preferred CIR providers and clients to develop strategy for analyzing and reporting on impacted data. This includes, but is not limited to, initial file listing analysis, document review, extraction, normalization and notificationSupport legal teams throughout the CIR process in the rigorous application of statistical sampling, search term calibration and other related analyticsCoordinate with legal teams and vendors to scope and support review and extraction of sensitive data by teams of contract personnelWork with legal teams and CIR providers to analyze and report on key metrics regarding the exfiltrated data types and sourcesSupport data normalization, entity deduping and notification and reporting workstreams both inside and outside of review platform (Relativity)Analyze and report on reviewer productivity and quality metricsSupport and update documentation reflecting key actions taken throughout the projectHow You Will GrowLearn from industry leaders and lawyers in the firm’s Information Governance, Cyber and eDiscovery practicesParticipate in the department’s process improvement initiativesParticipate in SMART goal initiatives aimed at professional development and achieving career objectivesOther DutiesPlease note this job description does not cover or contain all activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job. Flexibility to visit the office for training or meetings is required.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree requiredMinimum of three years of experience in litigation support, eDiscovery, technology assisted review and project management, preferably including direct experience supporting CIR mattersIn lieu of bachelor’s degree, seven years of relevant experience in litigation support, eDiscovery, technology assisted review and project managementProactive interest to research different technologies as it relates to project requirementsAdvanced Excel skills required, including XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, Power Query, and Power Pivot/DAX, along with experience analyzing, formatting and reporting large structured and semi-structured data setsA minimum of two years of Relativity experience requiredExcellent analytical, problem identification and resolution skillsExperience with discovery involving complex structured and unstructured dataUnderstanding of sensitive data elements including PII, PHI and GDPRExperience with applying technology and data mining techniques to identify and classify dataAbility to work efficiently under rigorous deadlines in high-pressure situations with limited directionFlexibility and availability to work across a broad range of business hours, including early mornings, evenings and occasional weekends to support time-sensitive matters and global stakeholdersFamiliarity with database concepts and technologies, such as MS SQL, Access and OracleAbility to support multiple projects simultaneously with consistently high quality resultsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to closely adhere to established procedures and exercise good judgment in sensitive and stressful situationsNorton Rose Fulbright US LLP is committed to providing employees with a comprehensive and competitive benefits package that supports you, your health, and your family.
