Forklift Operator (2nd Shift)

Badger State Staffing is seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to join a warehouse team based in Appleton. This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse distribution, shipping and receiving, and materials handling processes. *Duties* * Operate forklifts to unload trailers, stage material, and assist other forklift drivers in other departments as needed * Assist with shipping & receiving tasks, including verifying shipments and preparing items for dispatch * Perform heavy lifting and material handling tasks safely and efficiently * Support order picking processes to fulfill customer orders accurately * Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance needs * Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with safety standards * Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize storage solutions and workflow efficiency *Requirements* * At least three years of recent forklift operation experience in a manufacturing environment * Strong knowledge of OSHA safety regulations related to heavy equipment operation * Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory control * Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently for extended periods Pay: $21.75 - $23.75 per hour Benefits: * Dental insurance * Health insurance * Paid time off * Vision insurance Experience: * Forklift: 5 years (Required) Work Location: In person
