Maintenance Technician
The Role
As a Maintenance Technician you will be responsible for troubleshooting and making repairs throughout the facility to different types of machines and equipment ranging from CNC machines, EDM, Compressors, Dryers, Manual mills and lathes, Welding equipment and other facility support as required, to ensure efficient and effective results for a high-quality finished product.
Main Responsibilities
Responsible for preventive maintenance and ordering of necessary parts for maintenance and repair of equipment.
Use schematic diagrams to troubleshoot and repair electric, hydraulic and pneumatic circuits
Complete preventive maintenance on all production equipment in a timely manner according to schedule
Lean and gain expertise on new equipment and process
Organize and maintain maintenance areas of stockroom
Follow all established safety rules and guidelines as outlined in the Employee Handbook and as stated in various safety-related training programs; this includes but is not limited to, lockout/tag, electrical code safe practices and confined space entry programs
Understand and communicate all hazards and safety issues to the appropriate personnel
Properly use all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
May perform other related assignments as needed

What We Are Looking For
High school diploma or equivalent
Troubleshooting CNC machines is a must
Wiring machinery and making repairs to electrical components.
Good written and verbal communication skills. Effective in team environment and interpersonal skills
Maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to demonstrate proficiency by performance or certificate in the following skill sets: Mechanical, Electrical, Pneumatics and Hydraulics
Perform mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance on all systems including pneumatics and hydraulics.
Perform repairs and PM’s on material handling equipment including battery maintenance.
Maintain and repair electrical, HVAC and plumbing systems
Perform welding using cutting torches or other welding equipment
Fabricate projects from various materials
Experience and basic knowledge of material handling equipment, electrical, plumbing, pneumatic and hydraulic skills and maintenance

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate (office/cubicle environment with computers, fax machines and printers operating) to loud (manufacturing environment with large machinery operating).
Salary range: $25/hour - $32/hour, depending on experience.
