The Opportunity Work within the region s primary pediatric provider, serving as a vital resource for specialized neonatal care in Northwest Florida.
Clinical Scope: Provide 24/7 in-house coverage in a 28-bed Level III NICU. Responsibilities include daily rounding, acute NICU care, delivery attendance, and procedures commensurate with experience.
Team & Support: Join a collaborative team of Neonatologists with full subspecialty support and a dedicated neonatal transport team.
Facility Highlights: HCA Florida Gulf Coast Hospital is a 282-bed acute care facility and the only hospital within a 50-mile radius to offer a Level III NICU, Pediatric ER, and PICU.
Shift Structure: 24-hour in-house shifts.
Urgent Availability: Seeking immediate coverage for the following blocks:May: 27, 29, 31

CompensationHourly Rate: Competitive pay starting at $109 - $117 per hour.
Holiday Pay: 1.25x the standard rate.
Orientation: Paid at 50% of the standard rate.
Candidate Requirements To maintain our commitment to excellence and meet the 30-60 day credentialing timeline, candidates must meet the following:
Education: Must have a minimum of a Master s Degree in Nursing (MSN).
Certification: Current APRN National Specialty Certification as an NNP is required.
Licensure: Active Florida State License is required (IMLC not accepted for this role).
Experience: Must have been clinically active within the last 12 months.
Background: Must have a completely clean background with no malpractice history or disclosures (no exceptions).
CV Standards: CV must be in MM/YYYY format with all gaps explained; home address, phone, and email must be listed on the first page.
Required Documentation: A Self-Query NPDB report (pulled within the month) and a completed prescreen questionnaire are required at the time of submission.
