Treater Truck Supervisor

Position SummaryOversees the distribution and transportation of chemicals from the company warehouse to the customer well sites. This position will organize a team of drivers, their routes, and loads to meet customer needs as quickly and safely as possible.Essential FunctionsSet distribution goals and plan and manage distribution operations to achieve them.Identify resources, perform workload assignments, and assist account managers, direct reports from employees, and various departments when necessary.Conduct training for team members as needed.Monitor team performance and provide feedback for improvement.Oversee daily routes and improve route plans to ensure timely deliveries.Follow and enforce company policies and procedures.Address customer queries and ensure customer satisfaction.Develop distribution budgets and manage expenses within the budgets.Work with warehouse and transportation staff to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.Ensure that company transport vehicles are maintained in good working conditions.Develop cost reduction initiatives while maintaining productivity and quality.Plan and schedule deliveries to meet customer needs.Assist inventory management activities, including receiving, storing, rotating, and handling supplies in the distribution center.QualificationsHigh School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) is required.Minimum of two years of previous oilfield experience handling hazardous chemicals.Documented experience managing a team of four or more drivers.a Class B CDL with Hazmat, Tanker and Airbrake endorsements is a minimum requirement.A Class A CDL for driving a tractor-trailer combination is required.A current Medical Examiner's Certification is required.Forklift certification is preferred.Proficiency in reading maps and following driving directions is required.Skills & AbilitiesComputer Skills: Have basic computer skills. Efficiently navigate a web browser, follow online instructions, type and use a mouse.Customer Service Skills: Meet internal and external commitments, respond promptly to customer needs, and solicit customer feedback to improve service.Work Ethic: Be dependable, trustworthy, truthful, and credible in the workplace. Display a sincere desire to provide service or assistance, follow instructions, and take responsibility for your own actions. Show a commitment to doing the best job possible.Physical Abilities: Lift and carry 100 pounds in various packaging. Tip and move 55-gallon drums, weighing up to 600 pounds, with the use of a drum dolly.Work EnvironmentIndoors and outdoors, with driving involved. Employee should be prepared to work in extreme temperatures. The employee must be able to lift and carry 100 pounds, and manual dexterity and mechanical aptitude will be helpful.
