As a Dishwasher, you will support the kitchen staff by cleaning, sanitizing, and preparing all dishes and cookware.ResponsibilitiesWash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans using commercial dishwashers or by handMaintain clean and sanitary work areas, utensils, and equipmentEmpty and clean all trash receptacles Aid cooks, stocking, and other needsSet up and break down work areas in a timely fashionProperly use and store chemicals according to MSDS regulations Complete daily temperature checks on refrigerators and freezersSafely operate all kitchen equipmentReceive and properly secure deliveriesProper labeling, dating, and rotation of inventory Clean up spills or broken glassware and dishesReport all equipment problems and maintenance to SupervisorReport all injuries immediately to your SupervisorMaintain professional appearance, behavior, posture, and hygieneAdhere to WindRiver’s regularly updated COVID-19 response bulletin Follow daily opening and closing checklists Follow daily/weekly/monthly routines to maintain acceptable standard of operationEnsure all utilities and equipment (TVs, fans, grill, etc.) are turned off at the end of the dayAttend all educational, safety, etc. staff meetingsRequirementsQualifications:1-year experience in the food service industry in the kitchen preferredHigh School Diploma or GED preferred Knowledge/Skills/AbilitiesKnowledge of sanitation, identification, and acceptable level of health qualityMust be able to understand safety rules, alcohol regulations, operating and maintenance instructions and proceduresMust be willing to work weekend, holiday, and evening shiftsUnderstanding of restaurant etiquette Familiarity with health and safety regulationsExcellent track record of communication skillsFlexible and adaptable to accommodate scheduling needs Work as a team player with a positive attitude Physical Requirements: Must be able to bend, stoop, climb stairs, twist, kneel, lift, push, and pull items weighing 55lbs. Must be able to stand and continuously move throughout the workday. Must be willing to work outdoors and be comfortable in varying weather.Job Type: Part – time
