Program Manager
About the RoleL3Harris Technologies is seeking an experienced Lead Program Manager to join its Spectrum Superiority segment. This role is responsible for leading programs from capture and development through execution and completion, working with U.S. government organizations, prime contractors, suppliers, and internal teams.The position will focus on programs supporting resilient communications and weapons initiatives for the U.S. Navy. The successful candidate will have overall responsibility for program cost, schedule, technical performance, and key financial objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesLead programs through capture, development, production, and execution.Coordinate proposals, business plans, Statements of Work, specifications, operating budgets, and contract terms.Participate in contract negotiations and contract modifications.Develop strategies that support successful government pursuits and business growth.Build strong relationships with customers, government organizations, industry partners, and internal leadership.Lead technology insertion and refresh initiatives for communications platforms, including LOS and BLOS systems.Analyze complex problems, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions.Evaluate and adjust capture and program execution strategies to achieve business and financial objectives.Develop courses of action that support predictable program performance and profitable returns.Manage major supplier relationships and subcontractor performance.Apply earned value management and risk management practices.Lead matrixed, cross-functional organizations toward program objectives.Support cost, schedule, technical, revenue, operating income, and free cash flow goals.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree with 9+ years of relevant experience, or graduate degree with 7+ years of relevant experience.Current or in-scope Secret security clearance with TS eligibility.Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 20%.Strong program leadership, negotiation, communication, and strategic problem-solving abilities.Preferred QualificationsExtensive experience with earned value program management.Strong risk management experience.Current or in-scope TS/SCI security clearance.Experience working with U.S. government customers and defense programs.Experience managing suppliers, subcontractors, and matrixed organizations.Compensation & BenefitsThe posted salary range for applicable locations is $127,500–$236,500 annually.
