Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker -

All Care Wellness is seeking a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker for our New Bedford clinic. Currently we have openings for both Full Time and Part Time Remote positions. The ideal candidate will have experience conducting intakes and assessments, group therapy, individual therapy, aftercare, and a minimum of 2 years work experience in the chemical dependency field and a masters degree. In order to succeed in our fast-paced environment, the candidate will be motivated and a self-starter. Under the supervision of the Clinical Director, our counselors are ultimately responsible for providing individual and group therapy to patients suffering from substance abuse disorder.Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker ResponsibilitiesEvaluate patients mental and physical health, addiction, or problematic behavior and assess their readiness for treatmentUtilize various therapeutic models and theories to understand and plan intervention strategies for patientsComplete screening, intakes, assessments, treatment plans and discharge summary as needed throughout course of patient careMonitor patient progress and properly maintain patient records in our electronic medical record systemDevelop, recommend, and review treatment goals and plans with patients and their familiesAssist patients in developing skills and behaviors necessary to recover from their addiction or modify their behaviorWork with patients to identify behaviors or situations that interfere with their recoveryCollaborate with other community agencies as necessary for optimal patient careAttend monthly multi-disciplinary team meetings to discuss progress and/or barriers to patient careUses a combination of individual and group counseling sessions to help patients and observe their attitudes and readiness to accept help and guidance.Educates patients about community-based organizations such as Alcoholics Anonymous and social and employment services that may help restore them to productive roles in the community.Maintains case histories and progress reports.
