Juniper Specialist

IntroductionThe position will design, implement, secure, and support the network infrastructure that powers our engineering, manufacturing, and corporate environments. This role focuses heavily on Juniper routing, switching, and campus/SD-WAN platforms (including Junos OS) to enable reliable and scalable connectivity across our distributed, cloud-first organization. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup-like environment with the opportunity to shape our IT infrastructure from the ground up.Required Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).5 years of experience in network engineering or administration in enterprise or manufacturing environments.2 years of hands-on experience with Juniper routing and switching platforms.Strong understanding of networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching, VPNs, DNS/DHCP.Expertise with Juniper Junos OS, including configuration, troubleshooting, upgrades, and best practices.Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.Preferred Skills & QualificationsExperience in automotive, EV manufacturing, or industrial/OT IT environments.Experience with campus and SD-WAN solutions (Juniper, Cisco, Fortinet, Meraki, etc.).Familiarity with cloud networking in Azure and/or AWS environments.Scripting or automation experience (Python, PowerShell, Ansible) is a plus.Juniper Networks Certified Associate/Professional (JNCIA / JNCIP).Day-to-Day ResponsibilitiesDesign, deploy, and maintain LAN, WAN, WLAN, and SD-WAN infrastructure across manufacturing plants, data centers, and remote offices.Configure, monitor, and optimize Juniper routing and switching platforms to support high-availability network services.Implement and manage routing protocols, network segmentation, VLANs, and access policies.Support investigations and resolution of network-related security incidents.Provide Tier 2/3 escalation support for network infrastructure issues.Monitor network performance, availability, and capacity using tools such as SolarWinds, PRTG, Juniper Mist, or similar platforms.For immediate consideration please click APPLY to begin the screening process with Alex.
