The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing the clinical development strategy in line with the company's objectives, leading the design and execution of clinical trials, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. This role involves overseeing the preparation and submission of clinical sections for regulatory filings, building and managing a high-performing clinical development team, and fostering a culture of scientific excellence and patient-centricity. The Vice President will also be a key communicator of clinical development progress to internal and external stakeholders and will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless integration of clinical activities. Applicants for the Vice President, Clinical Development position at the company should hold an M.D. or equivalent, with board certification in a relevant specialty preferred. A minimum of 10 years' experience in clinical development within the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, is required. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in designing and executing clinical trials for immune-mediated diseases or related therapeutic areas, as well as successful regulatory submissions and interactions. Strong leadership, team management, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to think strategically, solve problems, and maintain a results-oriented mindset.
