Per Diem CLS Department: 7500-Laboratory - Clinical Employment Type: Part Time Location: 14662 Newport Ave, Tustin, CA 92780 (HOSPITAL) Reporting To: Mark Dyer Compensation: $55.00 / hour Description The Clinical Laboratory Scientist performs a variety of standardized and highly specialized analyses of tests in Chemistry, Immunology, Hematology, Coagulation, Urinalysis, Microbiology, and/or Blood Bank. Our Values: Patients First Empowering the Independent Provider Be Innovative Operate with Integrity & Deliver Excellence Team of One What You'll Do Performs standardized and specialized laboratory testing in: Chemistry Immunology Hematology Coagulation Urinalysis Microbiology Blood Bank Responsible for accuracy, reliability, and timeliness of patient test results Pre-analytical Analytical Post-analytical Supports diagnosis, management, and treatment of patients Provides support and facilitates communication using computer and phone systems Builds and maintains customer relationships Delivers a positive, professional, and empathetic experience to all customers Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology / Clinical Laboratory Science / Biological Science or equivalent Current Licensure as a CLS in the State of California Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the hospital Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English Must be willing to work variable shifts and overtime as required Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job Ability to identify and distinguish colors Environmental Job Requirements and Working Conditions This is an on-site role @ Foothill Regional Medical Center in Tustin, CA The hourly rate is: $55.00 per hour Astrana Health is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.
