Intern Social Media Manager

Imagination mode in partnership with Loop Roots Foundation is looking for a creative and motivated Volunteer Social Media Manager to help grow awareness around education, storytelling, and social-impact topics through short-form digital content for Loop Roots Foundation.Role Responsibilities:• Plan and schedule posts across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn)• Help organize weekly content calendars• Upload short-form videos and captions• Identify trending topics aligned with nonprofit messaging• Support campaign launches and awareness initiatives• Track engagement and suggest simple improvementsIdeal Skills (not required, but helpful):• Interest in storytelling, education, or nonprofit advocacy• Basic familiarity with social media platforms• Comfortable working with short-form content• Organized and reliable communicationTime Commitment:Flexible (2–5 hours per week)Benefits:• Portfolio-building experience• Leadership credit within a growing nonprofit initiative• Letter of recommendation after consistent contribution• Opportunity to help shape early-stage social impact media Qualifications Proficiency in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO)Strong Communication and Writing skillsExperience with creating and executing Content StrategiesAbility to analyze social media metrics and improve engagement strategiesCreativity, attention to detail, and ability to work independentlyKnowledge of design tools (e.g., Canva) and social media management platforms is a plusPassion for social impact, community building, and sustainable practices
