STIIIZY Box Truck Driver

DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced Truck Driver to serve our supply chain organization department in a safe and timely manner. Route driving delivery cannabis products to our retail locations and third-party retailers that carry our products. Cannabis Industry experience is a plus!Key Responsibilities:Will be driving all box truck types up to 26 ft.Pick-up, load, and transport finished products directly to the customerFollow routes and time schedulesPackage product and operate your delivery vehicleReceive feedback on provided services and resolve clients' complaintsCollect payments, handle cash and changeComplete logs and reportsInspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenanceComply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, and break periods) as well as with company policies and proceduresAssist with store delivery and pick up, loading and unloading, removing dunnage and palletsManeuver trucks into loading and unloading positionsCollect and verify delivery instructionsReport defects, accidents, or violationsPerforms work under direct supervision.Handles basic issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.Diligent, Punctual and Ready to work!Perform other duties as needed in support of business objectives assigned by supervisor.Note: This job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by the employee(s) incumbent in this position. Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice.Qualifications:Excellent time management skillsAbility to multi-taskCoachable, highly motivated, and driven to succeed.Possesses beginning to working knowledge of subject matter.Receptive to critique and trainingAbility to handle and maintain cashExcellent organizational and time management skillsAdaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions, etc.)Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulationsAble to create, maintain and build professional relationships and rapportEducation & Experience:High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.Ability to drive a 26-foot box truck and cargo vanUnderstanding of all truck driving laws will need to be followed (E.g., weight stations, speed, paperwork recording, etc.)Trucking school diploma or certifications preferred, but not requiredProven working experience as a delivery driver in any industryRequirements:Must be over 21 years of age.Valid California driver's license with 0 points, no accidents in 3 years.Clean driving recordAvailable for on-site operations work Monday-Friday.Work revolves around objectives, projects, and priorities- not hours; must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed.Prolonged periods of standing, sitting at a desk, and/or working on a computer.Able to stand up to 4 hours at a time.Ability to work in multi-temperature environments, hot or cool.Be able to stand, bend, kneel, squat, and twist for prolonged periods of time.Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift 50 lbs. to a minimum height of 5 feet and able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet, with or without mechanical assistance.Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities.The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
