Maintenance Technician

Aegis Worldwide Maintenance Technician 1st OR 3rd Shift/$25-$27/hr/ Full Time South Bend, IN Overview: Aegis Worldwide is currently partnered with a fuel and water system manufacturer. Responsibilities Perform routine preventive maintenance, troubleshoot equipment issues, and complete mechanical, electrical, and plumbing repairs, including work on 480V/220V three-phase and 110V systems. Maintain accurate maintenance records, update work orders, and communicate equipment status and issues to supervisors and team leads. Assist with installation, startup, and testing of new machinery and production lines. Follow all safety regulations, demonstrate strong awareness of hazards, and perform physically demanding tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs and working in confined spaces or at heights. Utilize hand and power tools proficiently while diagnosing and resolving technical equipment problems. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certifications preferred. 2–5 years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience and ability to read blueprints, diagrams, and equipment manuals. Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills. Solid understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, including three-phase and single-phase power. Ability to work flexible hours and perform physically demanding tasks safely and effectively.
