If you thrive in a fast-paced environment where your organizational skills can shine, we want to hear from you!Position SummaryYou will play a pivotal role accurately and efficiently assisting the warehouse team in achieving all shipping and inventory goals to meet REI’s world class quality standards. This is an entry-level order fulfillment role with minor inventory control requirements.Prepares domestic and international orders by processing per customer requirements using RF scanner, capturing serial numbers, labeling, creating shipping documentsPacking orders per customer requirements, checking carton contents for accuracyPrepare parcel shipping labelsPrepare pallet shipments (LTL), creating Bill of LadingWrap and label palletsSlotting finished goods in warehouse according to warehouse standardsConsolidating/ replenishing inventory when picking quantities are lowMaintains accurate inventory levels and may assist in cycle counting of physical inventoryForklift operation, pallet jack operationMaintains safe and clean work environment General warehouse duties and other duties as set by managementKnowledge & SkillsGood communication, both verbal and writtenStrong organizational and time management skills Mathematical skills with an excellent attention to detailAbility to work independently and in a team environmentAbility to consistently lift 25-50 lbs. Strong dependability and reliabilityProficient with Microsoft Office Suite and/or inventory software to maintain records, input data, and create reports.Knowledge of safety practices required when working on the warehouse floorQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent required 1-2 years previous warehouse experience requiredInventory, order fulfillment, data entry and computer skills will be required1 year of Forklift operation experience is requiredInternational shipping experience is a plusExperience with UPS WorldShip and FedEx Ship Manager a plus
