Lead Accountant

Key Responsibilities:Participate in monthly global consolidation process including performance of equity historical overrides and intercompany manual eliminationsMonitor Oracle FCCS close tasks: revaluation, data collection and validation, consolidation, translation, allocations, and open/close periodsPrepare and review GL and topside monthly journal entries and account reconciliationsEnsure the accuracy and integrity of financial statementsServe as the subject-matter expert for Oracle Fusion GL and FCCS, driving configuration, automation, data flow optimization, and standardization across entitiesMaintain company chart of accounts and related cross mapping, Fusion Cross-Validation Rules, and FCCS ReportsUpdate exchange rates and ensure FX impact is appropriately accounted and reviewed for accuracyIdentify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy of the consolidation processAssist with integration of M&A transactions and statutory auditsEnsure strict compliance with internal controls, quarterly, and year-end auditsPerform special projects and provide ad hoc requests as requiredTrain and mentor junior staff members as neededQualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field is required8 years of working experience with at least 2+ years of public accounting experienceExperience with major ERP systems and consolidation tools, Oracle R12/Fusion and FCCS are a mustExperience working with large data in ExcelEffective communicator with ability to influence at all levels of an organizationAbility to partner cross-functionally across various departmentsAbility to set and keep deadlines at a fast pace while still maintaining high-quality workOutstanding organizational and project management skills with extensive experience managing multiple complex assignments simultaneouslyCompensation may vary depending on your location, qualifications including job-related education, training, experience, licensure, and certification, that could result at a level outside of these ranges.
