Production Supervisor – 2nd ShiftLocation: Wellford, SCSchedule: Monday–Thursday | 3:00 PM – 1:00 AM (1-hour paid dinner break)Company OverviewOur client manufactures high-quality tools and equipment for electrical contractors, including cable pullers, conduit benders, and knockout sets. Due to continued growth, the company is expanding second shift operations to support increasing production demand.Position OverviewOur client is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead second shift manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for owning shift execution across production, quality, staffing, and workflow. This is a high-impact, hands-on leadership position requiring someone who can operate with a high level of independence. As the primary leader on second shift, you will be relied upon to make real-time decisions, solve problems, and ensure operations run efficiently with limited on-site support. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in industrial manufacturing supervision, is mechanically inclined, and thrives in an environment where leadership, accountability, and continuous improvement are critical to success.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn execution of all second shift manufacturing operationsEnsure production schedules, quality standards, and output targets are consistently metLead, coach, and develop a growing production team across multiple departmentsAct as the primary decision-maker on shift, resolving production, staffing, and workflow issues in real timeMaintain accountability across the team for performance, quality, and safety standardsCoordinate daily production activity to ensure efficient workflow and minimal downtimeIdentify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and operational efficiencyMaintain a safe, clean, and organized production environmentTrack production performance and communicate updates to leadershipEnforce company policies and maintain consistent operational standardsQualificationsProven experience in a supervisory role within industrial manufacturingExperience managing shift-level production operations with a high level of autonomyStrong leadership presence with the ability to hold teams accountable and drive performanceExcellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, especially in a fast-paced environmentMechanically inclined, with familiarity or exposure to manufacturing processes such as:CuttingDrillingBendingGrindingWeldingUnderstanding of manufacturing workflows, production processes, and safety standardsA continuous improvement mindset, with a focus on optimizing processes and increasing efficiencyHighly self-motivated, dependable, and capable of leading effectively with limited supervisionBenefits401(k) with Profit SharingHealth, Dental, and Vision InsuranceShort- and Long-Term DisabilityLife Insurance3 Weeks PTO + HolidaysTuition Reimbursement
