Senior Software EngineerFidelity TalentSource is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join the Fidelity Customer Protection Services (FCPS) team within the Enterprise Cybersecurity (ECS) business unit. The ECS organization is responsible for delivering appropriate security solutions to ensure enterprise resources are protected in a constantly evolving cyber-threat landscape.This team is based in Durham, NC, Westlake, TX, or Salt Lake City, UT!The RoleWe are looking for a software engineer who is experienced in software engineering, can constantly research and suggest the newest technologies, independently tackle technical issues, and work with teams of developers, architects and who have passion in providing solutions.You will work closely with the product owners, architects to participate the technical strategies and design, as well as deliver solutions. This role requires hands-on experience to work with the team to deliver the features with quality.The TeamThe Fidelity Customer Protection (CP) team builds and supports authentication and identity management applications to facilitate secure access to Fidelity's customer facing systems. We operate through multiple channels including internet, voice and trusted partner sites providing both direct and federated authentication services. In addition, we support second factor authentication utilizing various out of band, knowledge based, and token verification methods.The Expertise You HaveB.S. in Computer Science preferred, Engineering / Mathematics or comparable8+ years of full stack Java based software development experience building scalable and high throughput web applicationsExperience building API's a mustExperience building and deploying AWS cloud enabled applications using 12 factor design. DE developing and implementing APIs and Cloud Solutions, using Cloud infrastructure and container technologies -- Amazon Web Services (AWS), EKS, Lambda, EC2, S3 and Cloud front.Hands on experience with automation & pipeline implementation (Testing, Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery pipeline) for enterprise applications, using Git, Jenkins, Sonar, Veracode, Gradle, Maven, Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, and Shell Scripting automated application deployment flows.The Skills You BringYou have experience and like working in an agile environment (Scrum and Kanban)You possess strong engineering skills and experience developing maintainable, scalable multi-tiered applicationsYou are a strategic problem solver, bring your curiosity and excitement; desire to collaborate and work closely in a paired programming environment; be energized by fast, iterative and acute programming practicesYou are open to direction and following agreed upon standards; yet be comfortable with ambiguity and enjoy experimenting, developing and communicating alternativesYou have maniacal focus on automation and always looking towards reducing waste and improving efficienciesYou should enjoy presenting and learning the business behind the applicationYou have hands-on experience in designing and developing using the following technologiesExpertise developing API's demonstrating full stack Java based developmentExperience with SOA and API frameworks such as SOAP and RESTSolid understanding of Pipeline/Build tools such as GIT, Maven, Jenkins, uDeploy.Unix and Shell scripting skills, programming with Python desired.
