Lead Full Stack Developer

Job DescriptionHybrid- Houston, TXInsight Global is seeking a Senior Application Developer / Lead to support an application development initiative for United Airlines. This individual will help lead architecture and technical design efforts while remaining hands-on with development activities. They will mentor engineering teams, establish development standards, oversee code quality, and drive implementation of scalable AWS-based solutions. The role will work closely with product, business, and engineering stakeholders to deliver secure, resilient applications utilizing modern engineering practices, DevSecOps, Infrastructure as Code, and AI-assisted development tools.Must Haves:7+ years of software engineering experience including leadership/mentorship responsibilitiesStrong backend development experience using .NET and REST APIsHands-on experience building cloud-native applications on AWSExperience with microservices, serverless architectures, and distributed systemsExperience with CI/CD pipelines, DevSecOps practices, and Infrastructure as CodeStrong understanding of system design, scalability, and performance optimizationExperience mentoring developers, leading technical discussions, and performing code reviewsAngular experienceKnowledge of AI practices/how to utilize it to create efficiencies in their days
