P urchasing Senior StaffQualifications:Understanding of all Purchasing practices and procedures. Good written, verbal, organizational and interpersonal skills. Previous experience is preferred.Reports To: Purchasing Coordinator/ManagerESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Assist with Purchasing and/or Sales Activities.Purchase various services and materials for the companyAchieve corporate goals and meet quality, delivery and cost commitments.Assist in establishing procurement procedures and communicate the procedures to all personnel.Maintain supplier management and ensure supplier readiness.Assist with the coordination of the completion of customer part quotation forms.Evaluate suppliers to ensure they meet the purchasing procedures.Maintain the preparation of purchase requisitions/purchase orders and agreements for purchase and sale of goods.Troubleshoot problems as needed.Manage customer demands and communicate changes to suppliers.Support development of 5S, TPM and Kaizen programs.Ensure safe operations.All other duties as assigned.Requires knowledge of purchasing terms, principles and processes.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:Ability to walk, stand, sit, climb stairs, use fingers, hands, wrists, arms, lift and/or move a maximum of 25 lbs. occasionally.Must be able to travel.Open office work space.MINIMUM TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:New Hire OrientationSafety OrientationISO Orientation
